Why go
This is a full day for visitors who want to connect living animals with natural history. Begin early at Wilhelma and choose a limited circuit; the zoo can easily absorb the whole day on its own. Continue to Schloss Rosenstein for biology displays, then follow the park toward Museum am Löwentor and its fossils. These are separate museum buildings with different subjects. The optional park stop is a pause along the walking connection, rather than another major attraction. Check all three venues’ hours together, use Wilhelma’s currently operating entrance, and leave enough afternoon time for the final museum.
