Why go
The city began as Dadun and grew through Qing and later administrative changes. Its park area recalls an early garrison, while the modern municipality makes a practical urban base for nearby Lukang, Changhua and inland Nantou. Give Taichung time as a city in its own right before turning it into a transfer point.
