Anping Tree House
Banyan roots have taken over a former warehouse behind Anping’s old trading-house grounds. The meeting of trees and brick makes this an unusually visual history stop.
The building began as a warehouse linked to Anping’s trading era and was later expanded under Japanese rule. Today the roots wrap through the walls and roof openings. It is worth visiting after the fort, because the two sites show different uses of the same old port district.

Useful to know
Look at how the banyan roots cross the old warehouse walls rather than only the exterior.
