Beitou Hot Spring Museum
This former public bathhouse shows how Beitou’s hot-spring culture took shape during Japanese rule. Brick, dark roof tiles and the old bathing rooms are the main attraction.
The ground-floor pool is framed by Roman-style arches and colored glass, while the upper rooms retain a Japanese layout. Moving between them makes the building’s mix of influences clear. Visit for the history of bathing in Beitou; the museum is a preserved bathhouse, not a place to soak.
