Chimei Museum
Chimei Museum pairs an imposing classical facade with galleries of art, musical instruments and natural history. It is a larger indoor visit south of central Tainan.
The approach passes a fountain and bridge before reaching the domed entrance, making the building part of the experience. Inside, the collections range well beyond one theme. Choose this museum when you have time for both the grounds and a focused gallery visit, rather than squeezing it between nearby historic sites.
