Lukang Longshan Temple
Lukang Longshan Temple offers a quieter study of traditional temple architecture. Its Guanyin dedication and successive repairs are visible in the building visitors see today.
The temple moved to this site in the late eighteenth century and has been restored several times. Its timber, stone and roof details reward close attention. Visit it separately from Tianhou Temple: both are in Lukang, but their histories, dedications and building forms tell different stories.
