Yehliu Geopark
Wind and waves have shaped this exposed north-coast headland into mushroom rocks, caves and narrow stone forms. The Queen’s Head is the best-known, but the wider geology is the reason to come.
Walking the cape lets you compare several kinds of erosion in one place: honeycomb surfaces, candle-shaped rocks and wave-cut edges. The formations are fragile and the coast is open to the weather, so this visit works best when you can take your time on the paths rather than rush to a single photograph.

Useful to know
Allow for an exposed coastal walk; conditions on the cape can feel different from inland New Taipei.
