Sukhothai Historical Park
Sukhothai Historical Park preserves a broad walled landscape of temples, palace traces and old waterworks. Its many dispersed monuments make it a bicycle or extended walking destination, not one building.
This is the central setting for understanding Sukhothai’s early kingdom. Moving between monuments reveals how the old city related to walls, moats and water rather than presenting history as isolated statues. Choose a manageable circuit, then devote extra time to a few key temples. The park is large enough that a full look requires more than a quick stop.
