Why go
Follow this route if you like buildings as much as collections. Huis Dedel begins the day with posters and design inside a historic house. The Grote Kerk and Noordeinde Palace are exterior stops that give the walk its civic and royal setting; the palace is a working building, so plan to see its frontage. Enter the Palace Garden while it is open in daylight, then continue to Panorama Mesdag for a very different kind of image experience. The short outdoor pauses keep the pace gentle between two longer visits. Check both museums’ current schedules before setting out, and leave enough daylight for the garden.
