State Theatre
Book a performance or screening at the State Theatre, the smaller historic venue beside the Paramount. The event determines the experience and the time you need.
Built in 1935 as a cinema, the State adds a different chapter to Congress Avenue’s entertainment history from its older neighbor. Its own room and program make it a distinct destination rather than an entrance to the Paramount. Choose a show that interests you, then use the surrounding historic streets for an earlier walk.
