San Gregorio
Compare the small Romanesque church of San Gregorio with nearby San Nicola, a separate historic building whose compact frontage rewards a brief, attentive stop.
San Gregorio provides a close-scale comparison with the basilica’s monumental architecture. Its position near the sanctuary is convenient, but the church has its own identity and visible fabric.
