Lille Lungegårdsvann
This central lake and its planted edge sit beside Bergen’s art-museum buildings. A short circuit provides water, greenery and mountain views without leaving the centre.
The city treats the lake and adjacent park as an important open space in Bergen’s green axis. It is a practical pause between KODE, the Kunsthall and nearby streets, with a different role from Nygårdsparken’s broader lawns. The fountain and plantings give the circuit points to notice, though displays and maintenance can vary by season.
