Rose Garden
Bern’s hillside rose garden combines planted terraces with a wide view over the Aare loop and the Old Town. The garden is an outdoor visit with a steep approach from the river.
Choose this stop for a view of the city’s roofscape and river from a planted public garden. Seasonal flowers, a pond, and open grass make it a longer pause than a quick viewpoint photo. From this hillside, the Minster and Aare bend can be read together in one view.
