Why go
This two-part day balances open space with dense historic streets. Begin beside Herăstrău Lake and give the Village Museum the morning's longest visit. Use transit back to central Bucharest, pause in Cișmigiu Gardens, then walk toward the CEC Palace, Macca-Vilacrosse Passage and Lipscani. The Art Collections Museum fits only if you leave the park early, while Crețulescu Palace is a brief exterior addition near Cișmigiu. It suits travelers comfortable with one cross-city transfer and a flexible final stretch in the Old Town.
