Why go
The Hub is a strong architectural stop on Castlehill and the home of the Edinburgh International Festival. Its spire gives the upper Royal Mile a conspicuous landmark beside the castle. A programmed performance or conversation offers a reason to go inside, while the exterior can be appreciated during a walk towards the fortress.
What to look for

- The building was designed by J Gillespie Graham and Augustus Pugin.
