Why go
This walking route suits visitors who enjoy architecture and a hilltop view more than a full day inside museums. Start with the church-like fish hall at Feskekôrka, then head to Haga Church and its green setting on the edge of Haga. Continue through the neighborhood to the climb up Skansen Kronan, allowing time for the ascent and the views from the fort’s surroundings. Finish farther west at Oscar Fredrik Church to compare its elaborate exterior with the earlier stops. Treat church interiors as dependent on access around services. The hill makes this more demanding than the short map distances suggest, so take the climb slowly.
