Why go
This route suits travelers who want context before walking archaeological ground. Give the National Archaeological Museum a focused visit, then cross central Athens to Kerameikos Archaeological Site, where the cemetery and old city gates make the ancient street network easier to picture. Finish at the Ancient Agora of Athens, the public centre that those routes served. The museum is the longest indoor pause; the next two stops are open air and invite slower walking over archaeological ground. The first transfer is a purposeful city walk of roughly two and a half kilometres, so keep the museum visit selective if you want energy for both sites.
