This route gives eastern Rhodes a clear village, monument and shore sequence. Begin in Lindos while there is time to wander its narrow streets. The Acropolis is close in distance but uphill, so give its climb and archaeological visit their own generous block. Afterward, use the road connection to Pefkos rather than assuming the two settlements form one continuous stroll. Pefkos changes the pace from stone lanes and exposed heights to small bays and the beach scene. It works well for travelers who want one substantial cultural stop and a relaxed coastal finish without crossing the whole island.

Lindos joins whitewashed pedestrian lanes with an acropolis high above the village. The climb rewards history and Aegean views, but asks for time and energy.
The Acropolis of Lindos rises above the retained village of Lindos. The climb leads to the sanctuary of Athena and an outlook over the east coast of Rhodes.
Pefkos is a coastal settlement south of Lindos, centred on an organised beach. It suits a beach pause that can be paired with the historic village nearby.
