Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach stretches along Oʻahu’s North Shore and changes dramatically with the surf season. It is especially compelling as a place to watch waves from shore.
Why go
The broad sand provides space to read a coastline shaped by ocean energy. Large winter swell can make the surf spectacular and dangerous, while calmer periods feel very different. Use current lifeguard advice for any water activity and keep a safe distance from breaking waves.
