Hong Kong Park
Hong Kong Park combines landscaped water, planted enclosures and surviving military buildings beside Central’s offices. Its hillside layout rewards a selective visit rather than a quick flat circuit.

The park layers a modern landscape over the former Victoria Barracks site. An artificial lake and waterfall occupy what were once tennis courts, while the aviary, conservatory and Tai Chi Garden draw you towards the upper paths. The variety makes it useful for combining plants, birds and architectural history in one stop.
What to look for
Flagstaff House survives from the former military site.
Cassels Block is another preserved barracks building.
Waterfalls and an artificial lake form the lower landscape.
Useful to know
Choose the aviary or conservatory first if either is central to your visit; their schedules differ from the park’s.
Approach through Pacific Place and its nearby escalator when coming from Admiralty.
