Houston Center for Contemporary Craft
Explore contemporary craft through exhibitions, working artist studios and a garden of useful plants. This small cultural stop emphasizes materials and making, offering a different focus from nearby painting collections.
The center helps you see how objects are made and why materials matter. Exhibition galleries introduce contemporary craft, while the resident studios and garden connect finished work with tools, processes and plants. It is a rewarding choice for visitors curious about making, with the exact studio encounters depending on which artists are working during the visit.
