Edward B. Knight White Street Pier
The Edward B. Knight Pier carries walkers straight beyond the White Street shoreline. From its open length, the Atlantic surrounds the view more fully than from the beach.
Why go
Walking outward changes the perspective with each step, leaving the beach and park behind as the horizon opens. The straight concrete pier also gives a clear line back toward Key West’s south coast. It is a simple structure, but the shift from land to water makes it memorable.
What to look for
Long public pier projecting into the Atlantic
Useful to know
Allow around 30 minutes to walk out and back while taking in the Atlantic view.
Use care on the exposed pier when wind or rain makes the surface uncomfortable.
