Museum of Taipa and Coloane History
Use this small island-history museum to connect Taipa and Coloane’s village streets with archaeology, agriculture and the islands’ former administration.
The first-floor displays include relics excavated on Coloane and remains beneath the former Island Council building. Upstairs, exhibitions describe crafts, farming and the former municipal council. The collection makes a useful indoor counterpoint to a Taipa village walk, especially before continuing to Coloane where many of these stories began.
