Quinta Vigia
A green historic estate on Avenida do Infante includes a chapel dating from 1662. The chapel and grounds offer a calmer historic-estate visit west of central Funchal.
Its garden and old buildings evoke the estate’s history of noble visitors rather than a conventional city park. Use it as a quiet heritage stop on the western side of central Funchal, paying attention to the chapel and the planted grounds.
