Why go
Climb to the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador early for the broadest overview of Mallorca’s southeast, then continue toward Santueri Castle only after confirming that public access is open. Descend to Mondragó Natural Park for a longer walk between coves, dunes and pine woodland. Es Trenc is an optional sunset extension, useful only when parking, season and daylight cooperate; otherwise keep the afternoon entirely within Mondragó. The route combines high viewpoints with protected coast, but it requires a car and enough flexibility to drop the fortress or final beach when conditions change.
