Mehan Garden
Mehan Garden is an open space near Manila City Hall and the Metropolitan Theater. It is a useful pause between civic landmarks, with a history that reaches back to a colonial botanical garden.
The former Jardín Botánico helps explain why this patch of open space exists beside Manila's busy civic roads. Today the Andres Bonifacio Shrine provides a more visible historical marker within the garden. A short stop connects the theater, City Hall and the nearby post office area without treating the park as a large destination by itself.
