Begin with the palace square as an outdoor setting; Krishna Mandir needs only a brief extra stop within it. The Patan Museum deserves separate time for its galleries. Beyond the square, Mahabouddha’s terracotta detail changes the texture of the day before the Golden Temple and Kumbheshwar return you to active religious courtyards. Keep a respectful pace around worshippers and leave room to wander the connecting lanes. If time or energy runs short, make Kumbheshwar the optional final stop.
