The church holds Veit Stoß's suspended Annunciation and Adam Kraft's tall sacrament house, works that show the skill of Nuremberg's late medieval artists. Look for the sculpted figure of Kraft beneath his own work. The building was damaged in the Second World War and restored, while its medieval furnishings remained central to its identity.
What to look for
A rose window fills the space between the west towers.
Veit Stoß's Annunciation hangs above the choir.
Adam Kraft's sacrament house rises above a figure of its sculptor.
Useful to know
Start at the west facade, then make the choir your main interior stop.
