Why go
Choose this route when you want substantial indoor visits around New Town, with only short walks between them. Start with the National Museum, where it is easy to spend the largest share of the day. The Mucha Museum then narrows the focus to one artist, while the Museum of Communism turns to a very different part of Czech history. Jubilee Synagogue adds a striking building nearby if its visitor access fits your day; treat it as a choice, not a fixed appointment. These stops are close enough for a rainy day, but three museums can still be tiring. Leave room for a break between the second and third visits.
