Why go
This is a good day for visitors who like art, buildings and a little green space between them. Spend the longest stretch in the National Museum of Art, then cross Esplanade for a look at the Nativity Cathedral. The Art Nouveau Museum turns the surrounding district’s decorative facades into lived-in rooms. Nearby, the Stockholm School of Economics is an exterior architecture stop, followed by a slower walk through Kronvalda Park. The cathedral and school are short optional pauses if you prefer more time in the galleries or apartment museum. Check museum admission and respect worship at the cathedral.
