Subotica Synagogue
Subotica Synagogue combines a domed interior with Hungarian Art Nouveau ornament. It is a distinct architectural and heritage visit close to the city centre.
The synagogue shows how modern structural ideas and folk-inspired decoration were brought together for a Jewish congregation. Its restored interior rewards looking upward at the dome as well as at the painted and ceramic details. Give it its own time rather than treating it as a photograph between other buildings.
