Why go

Maha Bandula Park works with Sule Pagoda, City Hall and the former High Court for a short downtown break. Kandawgyi Lake creates a different setting near the Shwedagon and Bahan areas, with Karaweik’s distinctive form on the water. Inya Lake lies farther north and suits a separate outing. The spaces are alternatives across the city, not stages of one walk.

Useful to know

  • Pair Maha Bandula Park with downtown architecture or Kandawgyi Lake with nearby Bahan sights.
  • Allow extra travel time if you choose Inya Lake from downtown.
