Why go
Begin around Pariser Platz, where the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag establish Berlin's ceremonial and parliamentary centre. Continue south to the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, allowing time for the underground Information Centre if it is open. Tiergarten then provides a change of pace before the Victory Column and the eastern end of Unter den Linden. Finish around Bebelplatz, where monuments and reconstructed façades expose another layer of state history. The complete list is deliberately flexible: treat the Victory Column or an interior visit as optional when security queues, weather or museum time slow the day.
Useful to know
- Keep the listed sequence, but drop optional stops when an interior visit or transport connection takes longer than planned.
