Casco Viejo
Bilbao's old town is best explored on foot through its original Seven Streets. Follow the street pattern to understand the former walled port town, then branch toward the estuary.
The Seven Streets retain the scale of Bilbao's early commercial core. Their compact layout gives context to nearby Santiago Cathedral, Plaza Nueva and San Antón Church, each showing a different side of the old town. Spend time walking between these anchors rather than treating Casco Viejo as a single photo stop.
