Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station pairs a restored rail terminal with an active transport hub, shops and places to eat. Its Great Hall makes a short downtown stop worthwhile.
Step inside the Great Hall to see the scale of the 1914 terminal, then trace how train, bus and light rail meet around the building. The station works well as a first orientation stop in LoDo or a pause between nearby sights. Its restored interior makes a journey through the hub worthwhile even without boarding a train.
What to look for
The restored Great Hall has high ceilings, archways and chandeliers.
Train platforms and bus connections sit beside the historic terminal.
Useful to know
Step into the Great Hall before heading for the train or bus platforms; the restored interior is the reason for a sightseeing stop.
