San Cristóbal Church
San Cristóbal Church sits above the old center with a broad view from its terrace. The uphill walk is part of the appeal, even if the interior is closed.
Why go
The parish church and stone bell tower mark a historic upper neighborhood, while the terrace lets you look back across Cusco’s roofs. It is a useful pause on the way toward Saqsaywaman, with more payoff than a photo stop alone.
What to look for
The church terrace overlooks central Cusco.
Useful to know
Use the public terrace for the view; verify church interior access separately.
