Walk the circular bastion and garden for a close view of the walled city’s defensive layers. This ticketed outdoor site is best visited during its published daylight hours.
The curved stone walls let you examine how Intramuros was fortified at a more intimate scale than a walk around the district. The garden softens the setting, while the masonry keeps the military purpose clear. Visit it as a separate outdoor stop near the southern end of Intramuros after the churches or Casa Manila.
