Palazzo Ajutamicristo
Palazzo Ajutamicristo is a late medieval merchant palace in the Kalsa. Its facade offers a worthwhile architectural stop even when interior access is unavailable.
Guglielmo Ajutamicristo commissioned the residence in the late fifteenth century, and later owners enlarged and altered it. Look closely at the street frontage and portal to see how a wealthy merchant’s house asserted itself in the old city. Arrange any interior visit separately.

Plan this as an outdoor stop and allow extra time in poor weather.
Combine the facade with nearby Kalsa stops; do not assume access to palace rooms.
