Why go
Phnom Kulen National Park brings a mountain landscape, sacred places and a waterfall into one excursion. Koh Ker offers a different archaeological setting farther from Siem Reap, while Banteay Chhmar calls for its own longer journey. Choose one destination for the day and arrange transport and current access before leaving town; these places do not form a continuous walking route.
Useful to know
- Plan transport and current access for each excursion before leaving Siem Reap.
- Check seasonal water conditions when considering a Tonlé Sap outing.
