Former St. Paul's School Building
This working school preserves a red-brick colonial building associated with the former St. Paul's English High School. It is background to a neighborhood walk, with any view limited to public streets.
The school building adds a useful education chapter to the historic architecture around Saint Mary's Cathedral and the former Secretariat. Founded as St. Paul's English High School in 1860, the institution was renamed after nationalization in 1965. Its protected red-brick exterior can be understood in that history without treating a campus used by children as a tourist site.
