Why go
This route suits visitors who want two substantial modernist interiors and a look at the city beyond the old centre. Start at Basílica de la Sagrada Família, where the Nativity and Passion façades frame very different sides of Gaudí’s work. Walk to Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau for gardens and linked pavilions built for a working hospital. After those two longer visits, head toward the new parkland at Glòries before taking in the city from Torre Glòries. Reserve timed entries for the basilica and the tower, and allow enough time to walk between sites. If museum visits run long, keep the Glòries park pause brief.
