Passage Sarget
This short covered passage links Cours de l'Intendance with Place du Chapelet. Step in for its nineteenth-century glass canopy and surviving decorative details.
Passage Sarget turns a walk between two central streets into a glimpse of Bordeaux's older shopping arcades. Built in 1833 and opened to the public in 1878, it rewards a slow look upward: the glass roof, Mercury motifs in the metalwork and old shop woodwork carry more of its character than the storefronts alone.
