San Francisco and San Eulogio Church
Near the old river quarter, this former convent church combines a Baroque marble doorway with visible traces of its older cloister.
Why go
The site began in the thirteenth century and changed substantially in the Baroque era and after nineteenth-century confiscations. Its doorway and remnant cloister offer visible evidence of those layers. It adds a quieter religious landmark to a Plaza del Potro or Axerquía walk, separate from the nearby museums.
What to look for
A Baroque marble doorway marks the former convent church.
Visible cloister remains recall the older complex.
