Why go
This walk suits visitors who want to connect the old city’s religious buildings, commercial streets and waterfront in one outing. Begin with the cathedral’s twin spires, browse Zhongshan Road and continue to Zhanqiao Pier before turning inland. Christ Church offers another architectural comparison on the way toward Signal Hill. Allow for uphill walking and keep time for the final viewpoint. Tianhou Temple and the Governor’s Residence Museum are optional additions; check their current visiting arrangements before including interiors. Leave either out if you prefer longer pauses along the bay.
