Palazzo Chigi-Saracini
This Gothic palace on Via di Città houses Siena's Chigiana music academy. Its courtyard, art rooms and instrument collection are best experienced on an arranged guided visit.
The palace connects a medieval street façade with Siena's later musical life. Behind the curved frontage are rooms and collections associated with the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, including instruments and art. It offers a different interior from the civic Palazzo Pubblico, but the visit depends on a scheduled guided tour.
