Plaza de Zocodover
Plaza de Zocodover is Toledo’s long-standing civic centre and former market space. Its busy open square gives an immediate sense of how the old town gathers people.
The plaza has served markets, gatherings and public events across many centuries. Its nearly triangular shape and branching streets make it a useful place to watch how movement through the historic centre works. Unlike a single monument, Zocodover offers a view of Toledo as a lived-in city, with daily activity layered over a historic setting.
