Roman Baths
Excavated bathing rooms below the historic centre reveal Roman Toletum beneath today’s streets. The remains are a compact way to see the city’s ancient infrastructure.
Why go
The bath remains turn an abstract Roman past into an actual built space. Rooms and heating features show how water and warmth were organized below the later city. This stop is useful before other medieval monuments because it establishes an earlier urban layer that still sits under the same crowded centre.
