House of the Columns
The House of the Columns preserves a colonnaded hall within Tulum's walled settlement. It suits visitors interested in how larger residential or administrative spaces differed from the small coastal shrines.
The surviving columns make the building's scale easier to read than many lower ruins. Spend a few minutes looking across the open hall, then compare its arrangement with the nearby temples and palace group. This is a single stop on the archaeological walking circuit, viewed from outside any conservation barriers.
