Tetragonos Agora
The Tetragonos Agora was Ephesus's rectangular commercial square, bordered by porticoes and approached near the Mazaeus and Mithridates Gate. Its footprint reveals the scale of exchange in the lower city.
Look across the open market area and locate the surrounding portico lines to imagine stalls, circulation and trade in one coherent space. The nearby gate supplies a clear point of orientation, but the square itself is the subject here. Observe the remains from the permitted archaeological route; a map of the monument does not guarantee access across every part of it.
