Camões Park
Climb wooded paths in a historic garden near Casa Garden and the Protestant Cemetery, with a grotto linked to the poet Camões.
Why go
The park grew from grounds once associated with the British East India Company’s residence. Its winding paths, trees and grotto offer a slower counterpoint to the tight streets around St Paul’s. The bronze bust of Luís de Camões supplies a clear landmark, while the slopes mean the visit can be as brief or as energetic as you choose.
